Pence Reports on Proposed RESPA Regulation

Randall Pence, ASHI’s Washington lobbyist, has alerted the ASHI membership to a number of issues that have the potential to affect the home inspection business. Members have been alerted to the issues through e-mail and encouraged to participate in grass-roots support for efforts that are positive for consumers and the profession. Watch for and be ready to respond to future e-mails from HQ with important news about congressional and Department of Housing and Urban Development activities.

Rebuilding Together needs (more than) a few good ASHI volunteers

Rebuilding Together, the nation’s leading non-profit organization in home rehabilitation and preservation of affordable homeownership, is engaged in a strong national response to the devastation created in the wake of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Through its Rebuild 1000 initiative, Rebuilding Together is committed to rebuilding 1,000 homes in the Gulf, from the coast of Mississippi to southeast Texas.
