Bruce LaBell


Bruce LaBell recently received the Arizona ASHI MVP "Presidents Award" for the second time. Bruce has received this award from the Arizona chapter of the American Society of Home Inspectors for his outstanding contributions to the chapter.


Dave Swartz


Dave Swartz received the "Living Legend Award" for years of service to the Arizona ASHI chapter, co-authoring the home inspector legislation, influencing the State of Arizona to adopt ASHI/AZASHI Standards of Professional Practice and ongoing efforts representing home inspectors across the state in legislative matters.


Keystone Inspection Seminar

Keystone ASHI hosted the Keystone Inspection Seminar on October 24 and 25, 2013 at the Crowne Plaza, Reading in Reading PA. Over 110 home inspectors from five states received ASHI and state CE credits for educational presentations by Bill Hamilton and John Gebhard from UGI Utilities, and from Michael Casey of Casey, O'Malley Associates. UGI Utilities sessions included "Proper Gas Line Installation," Venting and Multiple Flues," "Heat Exchangers," What to Look for in the Field" and much more. Michael Casey's sessions included "In-Depth Electric Panel Inspections," "Inspecting Foreclosures" and "Risk Management: What to Do when a Claim Comes In."

Attendees also enjoyed great food and
camaraderie during the two days. Friendships were renewed as many of the attendees have attended past Keystone events.
